I'm in Chapter 10, but there are also six appendices after the 12 chapters. I've been very interested in N T Wright for 4 or 5 years, but I'm afraid I haven't done enough original study in his works. I think Piper has hit just the right analysis of the central points in Wright's doctrine of justification, but I say that based on my understanding of the Bible, not on any expertise in understanding Wright. I do think Wright has a lot of other things to say. Had he said them in the context of his original allegiance to traditional Protestant doctrines, he would have been a mighty ally indeed. As it is, there are still lots of good things to learn from Wright. But a new paradigm for justification and imputation are not those things.
